Now that human caused global warming is considered a myth by most what is next on the agenda from tree hugger?

I am hearing a lot of noise about asteroids hitting the earth, and of course wiping out all life. Maybe that will be the next catastrophe that only our politicians can save us from - at the expense of our liberties.
