Would you trust your daughter with birth control?

Well, I went on the Pill aged 10. I'm now in a ually active relationship and use condoms. I ended up not sleeping with anyone until I was 17. That said, my best friend went on the pill aged 15, she ended up having an abortion a few months later. She said exactly the same thing 'I can't get pregnant'. However, depending on the girl, I would say it is perfectly acceptable to put her on the pill. She seems like a sensible person and to me, it seems as though she wouldn't put herself in that situation. It is also legal for a teenager to get the pill from the age of 15 without parental consent in this country, so I would let her have it, but please god, try different types to find out which one works best for the girl!
