Books similar to a child called it?

Books by Torey Hayden are AMAZING! I was just like you (picky) when I was younger, and still am a bit, and I went through a phase reading books like "A Child Called It". I found Torey Hayden and fell in love with her books. The two books I really like of hers are "One Child" and "Tiger's Child". Have fun reading :)
