How Do I Care for my Ugg Boots?

I bought my ugg boots 3 weeks ago, and sprayed it with the water and stain repellent. They haven't gotten wet or dirty yet. How often do I need to respray the boots? Do I need to respray them even if they haven't gotten wet?
