If i would want to take a friend to the gun range and shoot my rifle.what will he need in approval.?

im only 14 and so is he.my gpa took me and my sister shooting and alls she had to do was sogn a paper.but my gpa was the guardian.but i want to take my friend shoting with me.and his parents wont be there.will he be alowed to shoot my rifle.if not what will i need to do in order of him to shoot my rifle.(and this is in illinois and me and my gpa have foid cards.however my sister didnt need one.and my friends mom doesnt have one)i have a felling that im screwed out of a fun saturday.
