How do you wear a kuwait liberation medal?

i have a kuwait liberation medal, and i am attending the school's royal ball where i have to go as a millitary serviceman. i am going in my cadet uniform, and i've never worn a medal before...and i was wondering if anyone can give me the exact instructions on how to wear it.
