How do I convince my mom to let me get a hamster?

Hamsters are the devil. They all bite, you can't hold them, and they're stinky. Get a rat :) Best pet I've ever had! If you're not afraid of the tail (i wouldn't see why), then they're the best small animal to get. They're really intelligent and social so they get used to you and play with the toys you give them. Sorry hun, but your mom's probably* not going to get you another devil.
