Rift: i dont want to continue ascend a friend?

my friend sent me a rift link on facebook for the trial i went to it made an account downloaded the trial blah blah blah, the next day i went and bought a physical copy of rift instead of buying the digital one when the 7 day trial ended and i then uninstalled the trial game and install the physical copy one i logged in, played with my friend, went to the auction house and tryed to auction something and it told me i couldnt because its a trial account, i went onto the website and tried to buy a subscription but the option isn't there, in manage games it says ascend a friend 6 days remaining but i just want to play normal and not on the trial, do i have to wait til the trial runs out before buying a subscription?
