It may be that your sister is correct but I have recently painted my eves on my house and wasps came back to very nearly the same spot even after painting. I would suggest that you spray it with insecticide. There may still be a nest. There are a lot of places for the wasps to hide their nest particularly if it is a new one. Watch where they go if you can and maybe they will show you where it is. Wasps can be very determined. I would hate to have one in the car with me when I was driving. Do you think most people would look down on me for not going out or socialising very much?

I am a pretty, smart girl. I am finishing my masters degree. A couple of years ago I stopped being friends with the group I had known as I went through a patch of depression and it turns out thhey were not very nice people. Also, I come from an emotionally abusive family that have filled my head with all the reasons I am bad and incapable and likely to fail in my endeavours. Resultantly, I became quite reclusive and concentrated on the one thing I could determine in my life; my studies. It paid off and I came away with a first cl degree last year for my BA. This year I have the opportunity to do this great internship at an art gallery in my hometown but I am such an isolated girl. I never go out. I have spent the summer writing my thesis and watching films and learning new things. I still live with my family. The one thing holding me back from applying for this internship is I feel so different to most people precisely because I am not hugely social. I would feel so saddened and crestfallen were I to apply and do this internship only to have the staff there make me feel bad or inferior for being different and unsocial. Also, I have problems with social anxiety disorder. The requirements of the job do not seem to involve presentations or leading groups but more so behind the scenes working alone and with the team so I feel like I would be OK but I worry they would require more in the way of public speaking and I freak out and panic. I just about handle my anxiety in regular life but I am more reserved and inhibited as a person. I am deliberate rather than spontaneous throwing caution to the wind kind of person. Anyway, all of this holds me back from applying for this internship. I have the grades and potentially it could be great but I worry about these things. I became 'unsocial' I guess because I was dissapointed and fed up with people; my last two boyfriends were verbally abusive when I had only been kind, my family are dysfunctional of which I am the youngest, and my friends hurt me and found it amusing when I began to experience depression at the end of High School. Most people have not had these problems it seems and while it makes sense to me that I would retreat from society, most people see you as weird for it.

Any easier way to fix this broken ground wire in bathroom?

An apartment i manage has a light fixture over the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. The lights flickered on and off for awhile and then went off and will not turn back on. I have rewired everything to ensure good connections, but the lights still dont work. Basically have narrowed it down to a broken common wire, have power at the light socket when i ground the tester to the copper ground wire, but not when grounded through the neutral wire. Also the outlet on the same wall quit working at the same time. Is there an easier way to fix this without trying to run a new wire all the way through the ceiling?

We have never met or spoken on the phone. In these two years he has had many hardships. He is a professional who serves our country, and has know as a child just what he wanted to do. We were simply friends for the first year or so, for he had a girl friend, who played in the same game room. The three of us were good friends. He is very wise and mature for his age, I tell him he is an old soul. Well, for the longest time I told him that I didnt date younger men. He continued to persue me any way. Well, there were many other women on that site that were head over heals for him. He is very charming, witty, sensitive, funny, very sincere and honest....almost to a fault. Except for when he is working crazy hours. Well tonight, we were chatting and I was asking him how he was. He said he didnt get any sleep. I asked him why? He responded: I dont know how to answer that question. Me: ?????? security reasons? (he is FBI) He: not at all. He: what are you getting at? Before I could answer him, he said Oh I dont care and left the room. I just dont get it. Maybe I was annoying him with all the questions? He has seemed kinda distant, edgy, and defensive for the last week or so. I do wish he would just come out and say what is going on. It hurt me deeply, that he said he didnt care, not like him. Ive been crying since 8:30 pm. Now I am beginning to get angry. I cant sleep.....my 8 yr old son, see's me like this. I am sure I am up for the night. Started writing him an angry IM, and messed that all up, account of the stupid enter on....thinking it would go to next paragraph rather than enter it into IM. Seached helps for a way to delete it and start over. Couldnt find anything, and now I'm here. You should also know, that we have never met or even talked on the phone. Just the other day when the subject of us meeting came up, he said it was a scarey proposition and wanted to know if I felt the same. I do. But asked him, what are we affraid of? then added, well food for thought....he said food for thought indeed. And we havent discussed it since. Any insights or suggestions? HELP me get rid of spray on tan!!!?

Last night I was at Target and I saw some spray-on tan in a can. It didn't show how dark it would be, so I decided to spray a little on my leg from the knee-down to see how dark it would be. It didn't show up at all, so I read the back of the can and it says that it may take 12 hours for the color to develop. Great... so I went home and took a shower and SCRUBBED my legs. I'm bummin' it today, so I just now got to take a shower and when I took off my PJ pants... my gracious. My legs look freakish. They have brown streaks on them! I look like I have vitaligo or something (b/c my skin is naturally pale and now it's dark and light patches). Is there a way to get it off? It said it could last up to a week. The main problem I see with the first stable is you need to get rid of Snitsky and Knox and replace them with Jack Swagger and maybe Ted Dibiase JR. Islam- Convert In The West really California?

Ok. Here is my dilemma, I was born in the US and a majority of my life I didn't have a single belief in religion. Within the last few months of my life I started reading the Qu'ran and converted over to Islam. I took my shahada three weeks ago but I've been living as a Muslim months before. Now that I am a official muslim I see many things wrong with myself and the people around me. my girlfriend is a unbeliever but I have 2 children by her and another by my ex-wife. My family mocks me because of my belief. All of my friends are unbelievers and to me are evil now that I see Allah has guided me. I am constintly tempted by my prior affections to women. I'm not afraid to lose everything I have for my beliefs. My concern is that since I am American and the world over here is totally different from Muslim countries. I'm pretty much a techie and I'm all into computers and games. Should I get rid of these since it takes me away from studying? I was also wondering is it alright for me to feel this way? I want to live in a muslim community or a muslim country but I can't because my obligations are here. How can I be a good muslim if I'm surrounded by Unbelievers?

The only big problem that I can see is if you get caught. Eating meat is not a crime, but the point is all those people will realize you are not the person you say you are. At best they may be annoyed just to have been deceived and at worst they may wonder what else you are hiding and just who you really are. I would also be really be upset if I had gone to a lot of trouble to plan menu's just for you all the time, only to find out it wasn't necessary!

I prefer 5 days. I live just 3 miles from my work and if I had to do a 4 day week that would mean an extra 2 hours of child care each day. I just found out that i could sing like last year when i was in grade 10. and i am really am desperate about becoming a singer. i cant stop thinking about it. like everyday i always dream of my slef becoming a singer. the problem is that i wanted to try out for Canadian Idol this year beucase i turned 16 but they stopped cause of economy issues and i was upset because i wanted to start my career early like as soon that high school ended. i joined music cl so that i could get some knowledge about theory stuff and more experience. i am a huge fan of Kelly Clarkson and i always listen to a music and "train" myslef becuase she is a wicked singer. somethng i am having trouble with is singing in front of people becuase my voice doesnt sound good like the way i sing by myslef. i sounds rough. a talent show is coming up and i want to sing sooo badly but i am scared of what i might do on stage. Sounds to me like blackheads and white heads. the blackheads on your nose is from everyday dirt and bacteria getting into your pores which in some races are quite large. When you squeeze them its not so much like pus but more like a white worm?? and the tougher ones would be white heads. just where the pore gets blocked and the closer over, a bit harder to squeeze. 25 Weeks Pregnant with Blood in Urine?

Yesterday i noticed there was blood in my Urine and i have noticed it a few times after that but sometimes when i wipe there will be a tiny bit of blood on it. I went to the doctors thinking it was just a Urinary Tracy Infection now she ordered blood test on my Kidneys. She never told me what for or what it could be. It really worries me that it could be something really serious or that i could affect my baby, I'm wondering if this has happened to anybody else or what it could possibly be.

A lot of happend the past year, I fell in love with a guy and we stayed together for 10 months, it was magic the first couple months but steadily turned abusive (verbally), and emotionallyfrom my ex. When I first met him we were fishing, and I found him to be just the right guy for me. I didn't realize there was soo much more I had yet to find out about him. Meaning that I was starting to feel like his mother, letting him borrow money to support his habit (marijuana) which I had no idea how much he was into it, smoking everyday and getting cranky if he didn't have it. I stayed with him every night at his parents house for about 8 months, but I did not live there, I'd go straight to work in the mornings. At first I was ok with staying with him, but it started to get to the point where I thought to myself, is this what I am going to be doing from now on. The ex wasn't the type to really call or text me for no reason, he barely liked or to kiss me. I decied that I wanted some time on my own, but I still loved him so I got my own apt in the same city. After a few short days from moving in we argued about the key to my place, and of course I'd let him stay over, I eventually gave him the keys and he moved in. It sharply turned bad..I noticed that he stopped helping out, wouldn't buy food, wouldn't clean unless I asked, and invited his friends over when I was away. What I loved about him was that he was intelligent, and gifted with music, and made me laugh..but there were other things about him that I didn't like: he'd raise his voice at me while I drove, if I didn't drive properly or made mistakes, I had almost always had to make dinner coming home from work, otherwise he'd find a way to make me feel like I was starving him, he called me names when we'd argue (like ***** or retard or stupid), yet he'd tell me how he loves being with me. It didn't make sense. He didn't pay for bills, and never talked of the future or of what he really wanted to do. And it made me sad, as I wanted to make it work right. Recently our arguing escalated, mainly due to me not being able to handle the fact that he did not pay attention to my needs. I'm not going to list every arguement we had but I will say that there was an incident where I was upset about everything and I threw keys infront of him hitting the floor, he got up and ripped my couch up. That was a disaster and I stayed with him. A week later, we argued again and I told him to leave, then told him to stay..which he ended up leaving..Days later he texts me that he misses me, I ignore his texts..but eventually a couple days later I respond, texting him with what went wrong and what I need to know he cares, and we end up hanging out at my place a couple times but he'd go home just like I'd ask. The last time I saw him he slept at my place. I forgot to mention that the past week a lot had happend to me (I got in a car accidnet my truck was in the shop, my bike tire got stolen at work) all the stress was coming down on me at once, and I was feeling less like an adult and more like a scared child. I told my ex I wanted to be friends and make that work first, build that foundation, and I also wanted some space to relax my mind and just be on my own (not wanting to date other people), he got upset and told me that if I didn't want to hang out with him he'd go date someone else. That tore me to pieces, and that was yesterday we last spoke. He lives with his parents, doesn't go to school right now, and works 10-15 hours a week, spends the rest of the time play vid games with his friends or smoking pot mostly. He's 24 I'm 26, and I know he has a lot of growing up to do...I want to be with him still, but I don't know what he wants from our relationship, or what he wants in a future. I know what i want, I want a man that can be independent and caring and can show it....but I don't know what to do, I've been constantly depresssed, not hungry, sad, anxious, and lonely. I have to pretend I'm happy at work, but it makes things worse by the end of the day. Why can't I absorb iron?

I've been on iron therapy for around 5-6 years. My dose has steadily increased to around 585mg daily. That's 9 (65mg) pills a day of Ferrous Sulfate and it's still not enough. I take it with orange juice (for the vitamin C). I eat plenty of lean red meats and dark greens. Maybe I should start cooking my foods in an iron skillet. What else can I do?

My 9 yr old cat is quite sick and is not eating?

she has hcm and a heart murmur and low blood pressure this for some reason (the vet cannot quite find out why) has affected her eating. She has always been a fussy eater i only offer her cat food and she has never eaten human food however recently she just wont eat anything at all she normally has whiskers dry with felix as good as it looks wet food but now shes not eating anything much at all but when she does it tends to be the dry food and then is sick i have tried feeding her human food like chicken and tuna and salmon and things just to get her eating but she just refuses i went to the pet shop and asked them for some advice and they have advised me to feed her kitten food as it has a high protein and calorie intake and as she is soooo thin it wud be a gud comprimise i have brought it and gave her 1 pouch and she ate the lot which is a first is this really a good idea or am i doing long term damage ??? btw i havent taken her back to the vet as their veiw was to put her to sleep when hcm was discovered but i said no cos she is not in pain.

Why does the image seem to move in the opposite direction to the way the slide was moved using a microscope?

You know how when you are using a microscope to view a particular specimen, and you're not satisfied with the sells that you see in that particular space in the slide, you tend to move the slide slowly and gently. But the thing I want to know is why when you move the slide a little to the left, the image you see in the microscope moves right, and again the other way around. Anybody?

No marriage is perfect so understand that first. Divorce is never good either. In today's world it's so easy to find marriage counseling and it's very affordable. The payoff is great too in that it opens up your whole lives to having the best marriage you possibly can if you both work on it together. No one wins in divorce-emotionally and financially. It's a small price to pay for the great payoff of a great relationship. I just got divorced last summer and hate the single life. I wish we could have saved things but I was the only one that wanted to do the work...and relationships don't work one-sided like that so sadly we had to part. Do the work-it is worth it.

From my experience, I would say its highly unlikely that the shampoo caused it, unless the cat ingest a large quantity of it. Unfortunately, for a 15 yr old cat to start having seizures usually means there is a brain tumor (as opposed to epilepsy which usually sets in at 2-5 yrs of age). Highly stressful situations can sometimes bring on seizures, if say the blood glucose level drops very low, or goes very high, but the vet would have been able to see this on bloodwork. You may want to consider seeing a veterinary neurologist if you want an actual diagnosis. But it will cost a bit to do a MRI or myelogram. Good luck.

I found figs do best if they are planted into the ground. If your winter temps don't drop below 10 degrees F, they will do well outdoors. If they are in pots, you will have to protect the roots from freezing. If the figs are dormant (no leaves), put them into a protected spot like an unheated garage. If you bring them indoors where the temperature is warm (consistently above 60 degrees F), then the figs may come out of dormancy which may be bad since the leaves will be harmed if exposed to freezing weather. It won't hurt to pot up the small fig except that it may be harder to plant it later.
