Some one tells me my Diabetes can go away??? Is this True?

So I have been insulin dependent diabetic for about 2 and a half years now. I met this lady that claims there are some pills which I can take and since I have not been diabetic for more than 5 years it can definitely make it go away. Has anyone ever heard of a person who was able to get rid of Diabetes? should I believe this or am I blindly believing something I should not out of desperation?
